Napa Valley College has announced its upcoming season of music and theater events:
- September: Twelfth Night, Shakespeare Napa Valley in partnership with di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art and Napa Valley College, directed by Jennifer King. Auditions on May 1. See details.
- November: Seussical, Napa Valley College Performing Arts in partnership with Cafeteria Kids Theater. Mainstage Musical, directed by Olivia Cowell; music direction by Dr. Christina Howell
- December: Third annual Cookies and Carols Festival, NVC Chorale, NVC Music, and NVC Theater Arts, conducted by Dr. Christina Howell
- February 2025: Emergence Festival of New Works, Theater Arts Department, curated by Jennifer King and Olivia Cowell
- March 2025: As You Like It, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy, mainstage musical, directed by Jennifer King with musical direction by Dr. Christina Howell
- May 2025: Sunrise Mass, NVC Chorale. American Canyon High School Chamber Choir, conducted by Dr. Christina Howell
- May 2025: The 39 Steps Abridged, Studio Theater, directed by Olivia Cowell.
The music department will also conduct the recital series and concerts by the NVC Jazz Ensemble, NVC Orchestra and Napa Valley Youth Symphony and NVC Chorale.
