The Cookbook Fest comes to The Yard by Feast It Forward June 21 to 23.

It is being put together with the people behind cookbook podcast Salt + Spine and Feed Your People, which puts on live food events.

It will feature culinary stars including authors, naturally, and chefs like Tyler Florence, Martin Yan, Bryant Terry and Preety Mistri, but is heavy on young “influencers” and podcasters.

Festival co-founder Brian Hogan Stewart said it will include a mix of live podcasts, conversations and meals.

The prices seem pretty reasonable – for Napa — which is good for attracting the young audience they’re obviously targeting.

The schedule (with advance prices until May 1):

Friday, June 21, 5 to 9 p.m.: Global Fire opening party $250

Saturday, June 22

·      10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cookbook Fest: Keynotes and podcast recordings, book signings in Book Village by Omnivore Books, Sweet Shop, industry conversations Breakfast (coffee and pastries) and a pizza and salad lunch, $120

·      5 to 9 p.m.: Paella + Pinot Dinner Party, $100

Sunday, June 23

·      11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Live with Tyler, $85

·      5 to 9 p.m. Tyler Florence's Masters of Fire closing party, $250

Oddly enough, though Napa Valley probably is home to more cookbook authors per capita than any other place, I don’t see mention of any local authors.

Tickets to the festival are on sale now. An early all-inclusive pass is $600. See www.cookbookfest.com.
